Carver C-2 or nothing

Guys, I'm an avid Carver fan and was devastated when our winter home got burglarised and my beloved M-500t and C-2 units were stolen. The social planning committee (wife) suggested that I should just replace them with something else and move on. I just can't . I managed to get my hands on a 500t unit, now looking for a C-2 preamp. Could use some help from my fellow Carverites.

Thanks for the quick posts guys, I've got quite few options now. Found a few C-2 units on eBay as well. One was really cheap, but the Seller was honest enought to say the following:
"The only problem I ever had with it was that the volume knob was scratchy. One can hear the audible scratch through the speakers. I understand there is a fix for it but I don't know what it entails."
Is anyone aware of the problem described above and a possible fix?

DO NOT get it from Radio Shack! PRICEY as hell.

Order from www. sweetwater.com, they have the regular for cleaning & GOLD for preserving the contacts/lube.

@ $14 per can, which is at least half what they charge online at caig.com & WAY less than those tiny vials they sell at Radio Shack.
