The 35 is a great amp! I'm sure you will be pleased with its more than ample performance. As for a preamp, I love the C-11 because its' a simple redesign of the C-1 and matches the 35s' appearance. If you want something with a remote, the CT-17 has it plus alot of other features. No matter which way you go, you've started in the right direction with Carver products.
