Newbie to Carver
Sunfire Newbie here. Originally from Seattle, but living in the SW dessert.
I've always loved audio equipment. When I was in junior high, I remember splitting speaker wire together and then wrapping it up with electrical tape to make the wire long enough for my makeshift surround speakers. I used to have an old Sony receiver (this was in the 90s by the way) that was connected to two floor standing Cerwin Vegas with 12" woofers, two Bose bookshelf speakers, an Onkyo receiver, and two more floor standing speakers. Not knowing the dangers, I had certain channels running two speakers at the same time. I eventually blew not only my receiver, but also my step-brother's receiver.

Sub - Recently sold an old Polk - so no sub right now
In the past year I've reignited my interest in audio. I'll be the first to say I still don't know too much, but I sure have learned a lot (in a small amount of time) from reading forums like this. Great to meet everybody!!!
