Hello from the new guy!

Hello everyone!
I've been searching, high and low, for information on my latest purchase and found this forum.
Hope to get enough time to dig around and learn a bit more about Carver equipment.
I'm awaiting a Carver CM-1040 and really hoping it will live up to the name. :)

I've lusted over Carver since the 80's but could never find or afford it.

Hope somebody can help me out with some information about this unit.

Welcome home.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.

Welcome Soundman,
Like you, I too lusted in the 80's but couldn't afford Carvers back then. It's great that we pick up Carvers for a relative song now, don't you think?
