Welcome hawk! Just wait till your fellow enthusiasts hear your set-up after you acquire some Sunfire gear, yes another Sunfire fan here. Tell us what you are looking to do as far as set-up starting over as you are, and I'm sure we can direct you :D

Re: Another Newbie!

Welcome to the forum! The tfm-55 is an excellent amplifier and I have owned just about every carver out there but was soon turned towards sunfire and it really was a BIG step up. Bang for the buck factor still resides with carver though, in my opinion. Any how, welcome and let the games begin! :D  8)

Re: Another Newbie!

Hunt around for a set of AL-IIIs up in your neck of the woods...
If you haven't had a set, I'm pretty sure you'd like them if you had Amazings before !!!

Welcome back !!!!!
Glad to see you have come crawling back for another OCCD fix =D>

Welcome to the Forum !!

Carver gear has always been better than the "audiophiles" think.

With Carver you get more for your money.

For Sunfire just add "even" as in "even more for your money"
