Re: New Member here - The Carver Receiver owner

Someone may chime in with info on your receiver but the problem is you.

You are in the very early/embryonic stage of OCCD. Hence the receiver.

Soon OCCD will take hold & you will find yourself craving a Pre-amp & amp with greater power!

Eventually you will have several, sometimes not even being used.

The terminal stages are marked by "Sunfire" and in very advanced cases Bob's tube amps.

To fight is futile so "go with your heart".

Good luck !

FrankieD is right, you might as well put your item's back under the bed in the pillowcases and forget the middle stage of OCCD and jump right into Sunfire :D

I would put Amazing "Platinum's" at the top of your list and go from there to Sunfire or even TUBE to get more soul from the 490t CD player you have! There was a Guy on eBay not far from you with a pair of Plat's for sale - Try going to ebay and going to Home Audio and put in the search for sellers closest to you and you may find him, if I do I will let you know. Just feeding your OCCD...
