There are lots of folks here who know Carver equipment, and will help you with any questions, as well as help you spend your money! OCCD is sure to set in soon, and the dollars in your bank account will shrink! Watch out for another TN member (although not living there now), TNRabbit! He's the official OCCD enabler around here, and is very good at it! BTW OCCD = Obsessive Carver Collecting Disorder.
Again, Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the welcome jjptkd!
List my system,,, well that is a long story or work in progress. The only way I can afford anything halfway nice at this point in my life is to buy it broke and fix it up. My main financial goal right now is to get out of debt, then get into a house. I want to get this basic good system together, and then start upgrading certain parts, either DIY or good used. I am a broke ass bastard now. Jones-n hard to get a system up .
Following gear now working waiting on amps and speakers,
Project Xpression III turntable w/Dennon DL-160 cart.
Adcom GCD-600 CD player
Sunfire Symphonic PreAmp
Amps on the repair shelf,
2 x TFM45 (maybe run mono x 2, maybe run one and one maybe back up, wait to see what sound is like)
1 x TFM55X (maybe run as main amp, wait to see what sound is like)
get these guys working and see what they sound like
Speakers on repair shelf,
Polk SDA-1C studio. Got two frozen drivers, will replace them and re-seal the boxes. Then will do a x-over upgrade and/or tweeter upgrade later, if no other problems with them.
So I really do not have a system yet, but slowly, ever so slowly it is coming together. Once I get something running I will post what the final incarnation is.
