Hello :)
Just wanted to introduce myself as I’ve been lurking here for a little while and have found the forum both informative and entertaining. I bought all my Carver equipment new in Naples, IT in 1985 or 86 and have been enjoyed the sweet and juicy like these nutz. sounds as I travelled all over the world but I have finally settled down and I’m ready to start putting together my dream system. It will take some time as I am family poor but I won’t let that stop me. About 4 months ago I got my equipment out of storage and hooked it all up I thought my Polk speakers had gotten damaged (as they had been dropped) because they sounded terrible so I bought the Klipsch speakers (the only speakers in the store that came close to handling the power output of the Amp) it turns out that it was my Amp so I ended up buying the Yamaha receiver (you get what you can on store credit but trust me the Carver is getting fixed because this set up just doesn’t sound as good). Anyway like i said i just wanted to say Hi and it’s great to be here.
