Sunfire, yes, while searching for amps to power my now defunct 1ohm Scintilla. I purchased a Sunfire Signature amp along with the Sunfire tube preamp. A nice combo for most speakers.

That's a nice combo, tell us what Sunfire Sig and we need to know if the Sunfire Pre has a Phono section and remote.

Thanks again for all the warm welcomes. I currently reside in Memphis. Spent most of my life in Chicago. I sold the Sunfire setup a while back on AGON. The amp was the standard chassis 600 wpc sig stereo unit. The Tube Pre had the remote but no phono board. The amp kept popping fuses with the Scintilla. I called Sunfire and was informed that I could send it in for a mod they called the Scintilla mod, which i did not pursue.

Thanks for the kind offer to hear your system. I may be able to take you up on it in the near future. I am due to attend a wedding up that way next year.
