Yamaha receivers (120 Watt and 150 Watt) could not drive my Infinity speakers without blowing the tweeter fuses but the Carver has never blown one in 20 years.

I fully understand the captions.... 99.9% of earths people has never enjoyed 3000 or more watts in thier own livingroom, some guys dragrace cars,,, We condition ourselves with 3K-watts of pure power or more!!! I use a pair of PT2400's, front - back and a pm 1.5 bridged for my center channel.... pre'd by a Sony TAE9000ES (2 pair of Polk SDA-SRS-1'S AND A Polk CSi5 center,,, Polk LSiSW for 25hz-Booms...) lots of fun!!..
so at normal audio levels (wife is at home) my ears a not quite as efficient as most peoples...... am I a little insane?? Thats whycaptions are a must for me at lower levels... hows is for you ??? Ha Ha Ha!!
