Yeah, the tree, it is fake and for my wife who said I need more color in the room...I told her that more amps will add more color, she responded with the tree :) Thanks! Here is the back of the room with the Epson HC6100 projector.

Re: List Your System !!!

I've been staring at that wall the screen is in front of. Is that a fake wall? To the left of the picture, it appears that the wall is very thin and stuff behind it. I was going to ask if you could get behind to access the back of your components in that built in rack, but maybe it's easy.

I have some plants around my stuff too, for the WAF. I can rustle the leaves of a big fake ficus with the back pressure from one of my AL-IIIs
It should sound like it isn't there!

Re: List Your System !!!

No, the wall is real. That side(the left side) is another wall to the basement. Behind the screen is storage and my furnance, hot water tank, etc. The door to the right goes to the storage. I would love to hear Carver speakers, never heard any...DO you prefer the ALS III or the original Amazing?

Re: List Your System !!!

I prefer the Platinums (60" Single ribbon) over the AL-IIIs (48" ribbon), but both sound better than any conventional (cone piston) speaker I've ever heard.

Re: List Your System !!!

Ok, Now after CF this year I am proud to say that I FINALLY own some carver gear!!!! I gave up my raggity system up for a pair of ALIII+'s, a tx-2 tuner (thank you again ray!!!), and an ODL amplifire. (same as an oddesy)

The speakers came as a suprise the last day of CF because I did a TRAMENDOUS amout of work for my father and grandfather... All of the Silver tube equip was in the wrong boxes, so I unpacked, repacked, and filled the trailer 3 times, I set up the CF system, and broke it down.

I would like to thank Roy (engtaz) for his fair share of help. without him, we wouldn't have made it home!!
RIP BillD
