Greetings From Wintry Ipswich MA

Post by mr3putt » Sat Mar 01, 2008 2:23 pm

Hello

I am a newbie to the board.

Caught the Audio bug as a salesman for Tech HIFI in 1978

Started out with a baby Sansui receiver and a pair of Ohm "E"s.
Migrated to a Marantz 2285B and a pair of JBL L-100s

My current system includes
Carver HR-895 Receiver
Carver TD 1770
Carver SA/D-490T
Technics SL-QD33 Turntable
2 JBL L-100s
4 NHT SB1 speakers

Greetings and thanks for the welcome.

The 1770 was picked up to play prerecorded tapes. I have never tried to create a tape from any other media. As cassette players go the sound was good and the transport solid as a rock. Spent more time sourcing from the 490t.

No complaints.
