New guy to forum

Apologies if this is posted twice.
Great to see a site devoted to my favorite equipment.
Owner of a TFM-25, SDA-450, CT-17. Also using a Systemdek IIX table. I use Home made speakers (go ahead and laugh)
have owned Phase Linear, Carver Speakers, several other pre and main amps from Carver. Always loved the stuff, and continue to promote to whoever will listen.

Looks like you have a great variety of Carver equipment! I'm politely envious, as I know all of the models you have. Thanks to all for the warm welcome.

Welcome to the family...
But be careful, OCCD is rampant here, and has effected many of those who thought they "could stop any time they choose"

Re: New guy to forum

Thanks Gents, I thought Toy Maker was in error referring to 'OCCD'. I have ACCD on my CT17, and then I read the link Toy Maker attached. Very funny stuff. Here I am putting a daughter through University with one eye and the other eye is constantly looking for additional Carver stuff, another TFM, I also see Bob Segers System is for sale although I don't live anywhere near Michigan to pick anything up. I also see some of you gents have the silver 7's. Those amplifiers have got to be the finest piece of engineering I have ever seen or heard. I looked through the site till far too late last night, and saw a repair thread Rich and Red on a TFM-25. I'm also a technician, but to be able to have one person remotely repair an amp while you are giving advise through email, is simply amazing. It worked too!

Re: New guy to forum

Some of us have ACCD (not Asymmetric Charged Coupled Device) disease. It is Acquired Carver Collecting Disorder, that hasn't gone Obsessive. Those are people that are just new to Carver gear and join this forum. Very soon, it becomes Obsessive, and full blown.
It should sound like it isn't there!
