No dc is my middle (Don) and the first letter of my last name. At my age (not that old) I try and minimize the user names. I live in White B.C close to the US border. My better half and I travel down south often to see friends and I have my ebay and anything I buy (parts Express, digikey, etc) delivered to an business in Blaine WA who handles this type of thing for any Canuck who buys stuff from the US. It saves a bit of hassle at the border as you get to speak to customs people face to face. I've gone on too long answering a simple question. oops.
Hey Don/Brian what kind of tech work do you do? Maybe we have something in common? But then again maybe not. I repair copiers for a Big corp. They have me going to Bend Oregon in the morning and staying three days (short handed). I love Bend! Sometimes I love this job! Ha. Late
Our occupations are similar! I have been in Photofinishing for many years. I have been with the same Japanese Photo Film company for many years, you would know the name instantly, we have been Kodak's arch rival for many years. I install, repair and train on our photofinishing equipment all over Western Canada Let me say that Photofinishing has changed a lot in the last ten years! My chosen hobby since being a youngster (remember Eico and Heathkit?) has not changed that much, sure CD players, etc have come along, but TT's are still in use, unlike 35mm film cameras..soon to be dinosaurs. It's great that audio equipment has remained virtually timeless.
