I was wondering if anyone knew whether a Sunfire True Subwoofer is capable of having the plate upgraded to a TS-EQ12 plate amp?

Well, probably if it is a True Subwoofer Signature, as the TS-EQ12 has 12" radiators, as does the "Signature". AFAIK, the radiators are the same.
It should sound like it isn't there!
