a true reference TUBE OUTPUT car amp? Here it is!

Post by Rainman » Sun Aug 10, 2008 1:06 am

Check out this link! I heard about this from a friend of mine who used to work for Precision Power. I think this thing would be totally outrageous hooked to the killer old school A/D/S component speakers like the 320i set up with the original subs they had that were so outstanding. Then you could be moving in the direction of home audio sound....for your car? What a novel idea!

If I'm not mistaken, it said tubes in the preamp, not in the output stage....for what it's worth. :-"

I also noted in the ad that he mentions water damage. Is it just my imagination or did the whole ad have a very arrogant tone to it?

The whole thing sounds like trying to sell crap with windage. Like who, other than a Phoenix old-timer like me would even know what a Ladmo bag is (Wallace and Ladmo was a kids show on TV for almost 30 years - Wallace's wife was my secretary at Honeywell).
It should sound like it isn't there!
