Although there are similar design aspects Lightstar is head and shoulders above the Sunfire. Lightstar 2.0 was designed under Jim Croft and Vic Richardson after Bob left the company. For all appearances these guys were good engineers, the Reference 2.0 was at least as good as the first one albeit not as heavy or dual mono. Overall construction was without peer compared to anything else in the Carver line, and remember it’s voiced neutral. It’s a great piece of you can find a pristine example, but like someone mentioned, that one fell off the back of a track. With the damage I don’t know if I’d trust it.

Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.

The first thing that caught my eye was the destroyed fuse holder, looks like its been mucked with that makes me nervous, wonder if there's a 20A fuse in there?

Also the right meter is stuck if you look closely.
In reality, it only matters what it sounds like to YOU!!!

I have a pristine chassis. Add Angelos meters and he's dialed in.
