Carver Original Amazings

First time posting....and greetings to everyone.
I have a pair of Carver's 2 (30). My question is how would I separate the internal passive crossover so I can bi-amp the ribbon and woofers. These are in there original state not modified. I would appreciate any help on how to achieve this.

Re: Carver Original Amazings

Unless you go with external active crossovers, bi-amping is a wasted effort.

Quote from the page above.

The most common question I get is ...

"Do I need to disconnect the passive crossover in my speakers?"
The answer is ... Yes, otherwise you are not really biamping at all.

Re: Carver Original Amazings

Jjptkd thanks for the reception and the link.I find it most informative. In the Originals (1st gen.)there is a jumper that is link to both section of the crossover but Im wondering if there is some dependency between the two. When i attempted to power both sections my 45 passed current to a
smaller reciever and fried it.On my Silvers there is two seperate crossvers and I achived seperation power wise.
