Insurance Replacement Help M500T & C1

That scares me.

My neighbors are even older than me.
Most are from northern cities. Back here in the woods, they try to burn everything. The old bat to my right hates me cause I give her grief, but she is 78 and falls asleep out there burning leaves and grass clippings.
My neighbor on the hill is 75 and last year caught himself on fire burning brush.

My wife tells me to ease up on them, but a fire back here can wipe out acres in a day.
They scare me to death.
Insurance cannot replace a home.

I'll take the rack handles from both of them.
Your lucky, My house fire was so hot I couldn't even find my M-500t, TFM-35, TFM-6cb, TFM-15cb, C-4000t or anything else except the huge magnets from my Klipsch Chorus Drivers and Horns. I still get sad thinking about it.

After a whole bunch of bullshit, sworn oath statements and such it definitely still worked out in their favor I believe !

We produced proof of the value of the house at $58,000 and Contents forms adding up to $41,000 and we settled for $69,000.

........settled for ......

That's what pisses me off. The "settled for" amount. I have replacement coverage. Replacement does not mean "settled for" where I come from. Replacement means exactly that. Replacement.

No lawyer talk necessary. Just the plain old damned replacement cost! What the fuck don't they understand about that? That's what I paid for.....

Still looking for replacement suggestions.
250 watts per channel with meters and matching pre amp with MM and MC phone inputs.

Adcom was suggested already - but they don't have the meters and are under 250 watts per channel.

What I've found so far. Price is very high for these two items. I can't image what Allstate will say?!

You might also want to move up the food chain of the insurance company, get the supervisor's supervisor on the phone. It's a pain in the ass, but if you put the time in you should get satisfaction. You could also try your state's insurance board, who may be able to put some pressure on them, even a local TV station, radio station, or newspaper could put them on the spot and get you what you need to replace the Carver gear.

They'll cut you your $1000 check in a hurry then !

Call Sunfire, and ask them to send you a price quote for the 2 units as if they were new. Just tell them it's for insurance purposes, they should send you something.
