Don't get me wrong, I love my 300x2 and won't be parting with it anytime soon; ditto my refurbed 42 nor my 45 nor my 35 nor my m1.0t nor my MXR-150...well you get the point! :lol:

But yes; I think I have the "right" (synergy wise) amps on both my two "main" systems right now....life is good (for now!). Believe it or not tho I'm actually having regrets about not getting the m1.0t upgraded to "mk-II nirvana" status (if you believe some of the "testimonials"..some "new sound = great sound" bias there I'm sure, but we always chasing that dream anyway... :lol:

) before parting ways with sir Richard the Lion Hearted. Reason being that I'm amazed at how well those EPI-400's sound in the "large" accoustic space of my garage (especially with "punchy" rock stuff) with the "baseline" m1.0t.....could only get better with a bit/bunch more "transient" power...oh well, whatever. Be thankful...

What you trying to say OO? That "sweet and juicy like these nutz." sometimes = "wetspot"? Or are you comparing Herr Rabbit to a potted plant? :lol:

But getting serious for just a moment, one of the things I like about the 360 degree dispersion speakers (like EPI towers, etc.) is that they have a very large "sweet and juicy like these nutz." (albeit perhaps not as pronounced as one's with smaller ones). I like to be free to sit/lie just about anywhere in the room when listening (the better to do other things: read, board games, dance, nap, soak in the fireplace heat, whatever). Same reason I'm not keen on dedicated listening rooms nor vinyl that needs constant "tending", etc. But again, different strokes....

The perfect spec's to an amplifier or speaker is what sounds good to these ears. Not numbers.
