I'm back!

Post by bigerik » Fri Oct 21, 2011 11:16 pm

Not that anyone probably cares... :)

In the past year I had to get rid of my Carver gear for many reasons, but I have just re-entered the fold with a MXR-130 that I picked up for near enough nothing. While it ain't my C-19/tfm-45 combo, it is a sweetheart of a receiver.

Anyhow, it is great to be back here again.

Hey Erik, welcome back.
Political Correctness...defined

A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

In a recent press conference, President Obama remarked, "If I had a city, it would look just like Detroit."

Welcome back, BigE.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.

Spoke too soon. Gave it a good listening to last night, and one damn speaker started cutting in and out. Likely the renowned speaker relay issue. Damn, damn, damn.

Dropped it off over at Ontario Audio and Video to see what Rick will say. Theirs is a Carver shop, so all should be good. Will report back on findings.
