Met the "Man" again today!

This is the third time over the past few years, second time this year and he didn't remember me but oh well. :( I just had another TFM 45 refurbished at his repair shop, this one is going to my brother for his birthday but he doesn't know it yet. :-$ I was leaving instructions for the sign off, as Bob comes and goes freely, when in through the door he appears! Perfect timing. \:D/ He just got back from Hawaii where it's been in the mid 80s and nice only to return to rainy and blustery W Wa where its been barely above mid 40s and supposed to snow in the next few days. Anyway, we shook hands and then he signed my amp! :D :D :D

Did you smack him on the ass and call him Sally? :-s
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.

Re: Met the "Man" again today!

He already has a Sunfire TGP-III, Carver A-500x and SD/A 360 CD player that I hooked him up with at the beginning of the year. Although he's 100% happy with it how it is, every time I go visit I grumble to myself about the "high end" or lack there of the A-500x, especially at higher volumes. ](*,) ](*,)

Re: Met the "Man" again today!

I find it hard to beleive there would be any high end missing from an A500x.....?
