How would I connect a wireless sub' transmitter?

Need audiophile assistance please. I would like to connect a wireless "sub"to my two channel Carver preamp to power amp setup. The preamp only has one RCA right and left "out" to the poweramp "in." What do I need to "tap" into the signal and where would I put it? I'm thinking I need a "crossover" box or some type of "magic box" in the signal path that splits the signal and provides another jack the sub' transmitter could be plugged into. Is this possible and what would be needed to do this? Thanks.....Jon

I just bought a Sunfire receiver and transmitter but haven't read the instructions yet. Which kind do you have?
In reality, it only matters what it sounds like to YOU!!!
Re: How would I connect a wireless sub' transmitter?
What sub are you running that you need an external crossover?

Sunfire TGP-III, 200x5, True Sub MK II, Klipsch Modded Chorus II's, Grant Fidelity: TubeDAC11
Re: How would I connect a wireless sub' transmitter?
Which specific sub, sub wireless transmitter and specific Carver preamp are you attempting to hook up?
The answer will depend on the products used, but the majority of sub wireless transmitters I have seen have the crossover built-in and are designed to plug into your preamp outputs and have a set of replacement set of preamp outputs on them to replace the ones on the preamp. If there are no preamp outs on the transmitter, you will have to resort to a pair of "Y" splitter adapters. If your wireless transmitter was designed exclusively for LFE (HT) use and has only 1 input and no preamp outputs, you will need to find an external active crossover with a sub output to do the bass management duties.

Why let facts or common sense get in the way of your opinions.

WELCOME!
Yes, let's get details, and pics if possible, of what we're working with here. Do you have a link to the wireless sub so we can see all the specs.
It SOUNDS like you'll need a Y splitter to access the preamp output for the sub, but depends on which amp you're using....maybe a number of other factors, too.
EDIT: I see you're info from your other post: Carver CT-6 Preamp/tuner, TFM-35 Poweramp and SD/A-350 CD Player
Now just need your wireless sub details.

I thought 'audiophile' and wireless were mutually exclusive...

it is with bluetooth wireless. bluetooth wireless streaming from my iphone to clarion car stereo is appualing for music. horrible to say the least, and i woud not recomend it. now sunfire does make a transmitter/reciever for just that task. i also have a usb wireless transmitter and reciever from mcm or parts express, and i like it ok in my bar setup (not audiophile, just loud as hell).
