[[[ PS AUDIO POWER CORD ROADSHOW ]]]

I am pleased to announce that we have 1 PS Audio Prelude power cord in which will be going on a roadshow. We have had a recent thread on the forum which covered some of the benefits of why an upgraded power cord may be useful in your rig. With some of the responses it seems as if some folks do not, or perhaps have not, had the chance to observe what a PC can do to various parts of your rig. Well, here's your chance.

Image

A single 3' long PS Audio power cord will be going on a roadshow and the only thing it will cost you is the cost of shipping it off to the next person in line and the offering of your observations. This doesn't need to be a full, 4 page writeup professional review. Just a little feedback that the PC had no audible difference, quite a difference or perhaps....a difference but only on certain gear and not others.

I want to make this crystal clear up front. There will be no excuses for not sending this on to the next person in a timely manner and holding these "hostage" for any reason will not be tolerated. It is not yours and we would expect the utmost of care be given to the PC while it is in your possession. The owner of this power cord will be wanting this back and we thank him for making this roadshow possible. It is very important that this PC not be cut up to see what's inside the jacket. If you are that curious, you can purchase one yourself and destroy it. We reserve the right to omit certain people from the list due to a low post count, bad past dealings or not enough information given/incorrect information given.

Please note - The PS Audio Prelude has a removable ground pin. All you have to do is unscrew it. Just make sure that you do not misplace it and that it ships with the power cord when your time is done. Thanks.

The required information we will need is the following;

Your real name
Your moniker on the forum [username]
Your phone number [daytime and nighttime]
Emergency number [not one of the two previous numbers] and contact name
Your E-mail address
Your address
Shipping address [if different from actual address]

That said, the roadshow will begin in the continental US to begin with. Upon completion of that, our friends up north will begin their own roadshow until all names on the list have had their chance to audition the cable. That said, let's start with those folks in the US.

The List -

mbskeam - Mike - Done
TNRabbit - Gary - Done
Eddie - Eddie - currently auditioning
MRHP - Eric

Re: [[[ PS AUDIO POWER CORD ROADSHOW ]]]

Thanks, gentlemen. The list has been updated. Mike, on the 2nd PM I did receive it but your address wasn't included for some reason. Would you be so kind as to PM me with just your address, please?

Eddie, when you get the chance, could you PM me the required information so that there is no delay when it comes ship time? Thanks, bud!

You do know it goes up to Canada after the US tour, right? I can't tell from your post whether you are serious or just kiddin' around. Do you wish to be added to the list or no?

Re: [[[ PS AUDIO POWER CORD ROADSHOW ]]]

started out with the usual stuff I listen too, did not hear any real change,
rock/ alternative....

So I dug out my cowboy junkies Acappella stuff....
did the A/B, not changing anything except the Power cord on my pre, volume and cd tract left alone. (note: no ground pin used)
if there was a change it was very subtle, my system is dead quit to begin with, with the cord it had a bit more of an airy sound, and I mean very, very slight, will do some more listening tonight.....

stay tuned.....

who's up next?
pm your ship too address.

Re: [[[ PS AUDIO POWER CORD ROADSHOW ]]]

Hey, Mike. Do you plan on trying it out in other locations or is that the only place to put a single PC in your rig? In looking at your equipment, it looks as if you really needed two of them.

Oh, you have been added to the list MRHP. Good deal!

Re: [[[ PS AUDIO POWER CORD ROADSHOW ]]]

Tom, how long is the demo period once you recieve the cable? I might be interested but want to check a couple things timing wise before I commit.

I could only test it with my PSW125, Integra DTR-5.9, and maybe my wife's 32" Samsung TV if its even made to work with it. As a result I dont know if its going to do much for me, but am open to thoughts/suggestions.
