Sunfire 300x2

Just purchased my first Sunfire, man what a great sounding amp. I would like to upgrade my speakers (Definitive Tec) and replace them with a pair of Klipsch Cornwall III 's.
I wonder if this would be a good match for a 300 x 2 ?

Cornwall III's would sound great, basically very similar to the Chorus II's I run, very smooth combo and the 300 has plenty of kick.

Haven't heard the Cornwalls, but based on my experience using both a 300 x 2 and a 600 x 2 with Chorus II's also, I'd expect nothing but good results.

Also, with the Chorus II's there is a slight difference in top end sound between using the Sunfire's current and voltage outputs. So that gives you an option to adjust sound if wanted.

I've used the Sunfire amps now on Klipsch Chorus II's, Magnepan MMG's, 1.5's, 1.6's, 1.7's, 2.7's, Legacy Studio's and NHT SuperOnes. All were great matches.

I think it would sound great on the 300 x 2. I have a pair doing surround duties on a 400 x 5. I've had several combinations of Sunfire amps and Klipsch speakers and all of them sound great.

I see you are in DC, I am just south in Fredericksburg. You are welcome to run the I 95 traffic gauntlet and come on down. I have a couple Klipsch setups.
