Snoop you and this thread have sparked my interest. I may try this expiriment this weekend. I am running one of my PT2400's in the garage system just so I can pile a bunch of speakers on it and not worry about ohm numbers. I had a Yamaha MX-630 running the speakers but it got muddy sounding down at 2ohm but the 2400 be rockin!

The pro amps are not "voiced" at all. They are designed to be totally flat, and then be EQ'd via the mixing board.
They will work well in any system as long as you add an eq or just use them for bass.

Yes they are scary raw flat. James and us played with them at Carverfest doing comparisons.
