Carver AVR100

Anyone else have a AVR100? I bought mine back in 1988 for $1200. Have used it every year since and love it. Since then I have also bought a Carver A-500X and CT-24 in 1998. Love both systems and everything is working fine. I may be partial or sentimental about my first Carver purchase (AVR100) but I think it sounds better than my more recently aquired pieces (A-500X and CT-24) Can I find a witness?

An audio/video receiver as opposed to separates? No witness here. Maybe one of your separates is faulty?

AVR100

I bought an AVR100 new in 1989. It is now 15 years old. I've never bought another receiver because the AVR100 is so good. I have freinds with much more expensive receivers who have offered to trade me straight up for my Carver. For whatever reason it just sounds better. I'm running 4 old/large Cervin Vegas cira 1978, for the surround I have 2 Bose 301's circa 1989. Monday Night football rocks! Lord of the Rings movies are great. I plant to get a Sunfire someday if my AVR100 ever dies. ](*,)

Yeah, I love my AVR100 and will never part with it!
