Carver in the movies....

OK we all know Ferris had some Carver separates....Has anyone seen any other movies where there has been some Carver pieces ? Also, what kind of system did the dad in "Risky Business" have to turn down ? You know "My house, my rules Joel".........

I havent watched that movie in 10 years.
I thought it was Carver at 1st... but something was different from the C-1 preamp, and the tuner was different, there has never been a Carver tuner with a small readout in the canter.
So I thought....Phase Linear maybe











Still might be a C-1.. hard to tell...

In Jurassic Park 2 when Ian Malcolm in the movie is in the double motorhome/lab when he is on the radio calling for the boat. Looks like a couple of TFM-25's in the rack.

You are correct! There is an M500 amp, and also a TX11a, and a DTL 100 in his rigg! Thank goodness for Bravo channel!

Also in that picture of Jurassis Park there is one of the newer oval Carver receivers just to the left of the bottom amp. I couldn't get a picture of it if anyone else can that would be cool.

Was watching the movie "The Crossing Guard" yesterday and noticed a Carver preamp similar to the one in BillD's avatar about 30 minutes into it.

Thanks to my daughter Jessica, we got a couple of the old Nightmare on Elm Street DVD's Saturday... Low and Behold... Carver is everywhere...

I remember some show that was on showtime or HBO and in the opening seen there were Carver Platinum's set out on a hill (outside) and a girl listening to them but can't remember what it was called The show started this way weekly...
