Hi Gang, I'am the new kid on the block, I hope you can help me. I purchased a Carver M-1.0t Amplifier, and a Carver C-2 Pre, and would like to know if it is a common ground amplifier, the Polk 2.3 speakers require a common ground amp. Regards, Warren Warrenblue26 @msn.com the block, and I would appreciate any help.
Aloha, Warren

Re: common ground amp.
Welcome. This post was years before I joined so it is not my fault.
BTW, answer to his question is yes, it is a common ground amp and will work just fine with your speakers.

I thought that was pretty humorous on Roy's part myself.

To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medicine to the dead.

I think the post wasn't answered because the answer was YES. M-1.0ts were both. Ahead of my time, too
It should sound like it isn't there!
