Can Someone give a "HISTORY OF CARVER" lesson in &

I am curious what happened to Bob Carver and the company, what they are now, and do they offer more than one surround reciever and one pair of ribbon speakers?

I always liked the fact that they had torroidal transformers way before they were popular.
