Try remotes.com search for C-1000A cost $111.00 plus $7.50 shipping. I just bought a remote for a SD/A 490t from them and they are great. And I also own a C-1000A great recever, what a power house.

Wow, very good news; FWIW, it seems to be still available (My 2006). I don't have the A model, but visually, the remote looks identical to my C-1000's remote.
