FWIW, I have a C-1000 (signed no less) that I got before the A model came out. I bought it around Feb. 2001 for 2 grand. I think the MSRP was 2200 bucks back then.
As to it's value at this point, boy very hard to say. I see elsewhere on this board that them that had repaired that equipment won't/can't do it anymore. Frankly, that would seem to kill much of any remaining value. Of course, where is all the technical documentation... absent that and possibly absent some proprietary parts, it may be an unfortunate thing that the best thing is to dump them while there may be any remaining value.
NB, after I psoted this, I saw in another forum that there IS an outfit in the NW that bought up all the OEM parts and is willing to provide repair services.
