Multi port HDMI interface exist?

Ok, perhaps a dumb question... I have one HDMI port on my TV. Is there anything out there that one could plug into an HDMI port that provides for multiple ports? Just like you plug into a DC outlet, or USB port expander? My mind is mush right now, but you get the idea....

I like that one !!! I just got pair of new DVR's and I only have 1 HDMI on my TV as well. I need (2) HDMI's for the DVR, and DVD. I think I will tryone of these as well. I like the fact, it's not a "switch"... Looks like it auto sences which input to use.

It does, I have it connected to my HD DVD & Blu-Ray players, then to my HT processor. You can manually switch inputs or set it to auto, as soon as you power up one of the devices, it switches to that input.

This device honestly makes me wonder why the value of HT receivers and processors drop so rapidly. I always thought it was the lack of HDMI connectivity, but shows how much I know.

Honestly, what makes a 2-3 year old receiver truly obsolete with devices like this around?

A 3-year old $5000 Sunfire Ultimate II now available for $1000? I don't get it....

Go buy yourself a 80gb hard drive. You can get one for $25, where they used to be $150-200 when they came out.
You have the think of them the same you co a PC... 6 months after it came out, it's already obsolete. Sure they still work well, but you won't have the new bells and whistles in the newer units...

It's really all about having the newest hottest toy... If you don't care, and don't want to spend twice as much as the guy that buys the same unit 6 months down the road, stick with a TG3-4-5, and pass on the newest model, or wait another 6-12 months.

It's a "consumer market" they keep coming out with bigger and grander stuff every 6 months, cause they know you will buy the BIGGER BETTER version.

Me, I'm using a 5 year old receiver, and a 9-10 year old Preamp, and amps... I don't care about the latest greatest shit. ( besides, alot of the older equipment was built better than the tin China shit of today )
I'm waiting another 6 months for the Blu-Rays to get below $250 before I buy one.
