What are you running for mains?

damn mr. bill. you must really love that set up..been running it for awhile now.BillD wrote:Fortunately, I don't listen to movies at ear-splitting volumes — only 2-channel stuffThus, I've never blown the breaker. I can use all of 1600 out of 1800 Watts to a stereo recording, though. Oh, BTW, the A-500x is on a different circuit.
You are not kidding Rabbit, as most of you know you can only get up to 1700 watts out of a standard outlet, and that's assuming everything is proper such as proper gauge wire for the demand on the recept, and all everything is healthy at the panel/breaker, that's also hoping your recept isn't "1/4 mile" from the panel with standard wire feeding it (even if it's up to code).... I would definitely get things on a couple recepts, or on a powerplant fed with a dedicated line of something like 10/3 wire. This will only ensure your "welders" I mean amps are not working harder than they need to, you will get better results and your gear will certainly live longer....TNRabbit wrote:Bill, that setup could put one helluva hurtin' on a single, 15 amp circuit~
