In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.

In one rig, which also includes a tube output SACD/CD player. The other rig is 100% tubes.




Thanks Tom, I appreciate the kind words. I've actually done a few things since you heard it last and believe it or not, the sound quality took a major step up.

1:what is your take/view on whether SS electronic components need to age (hours) to sound better? Ie: caps in speakers, preamps...etc

2:how do the opp amps of yesteryear compare to today's? what would you do different if you had to redo some products?

Was it Bob's intent and/or did Bob modify all of the TFM (transfer function modified) series of amplifiers to sound the same within their design criteria? :-k

Bob, if you can.......please tell us a little bit about the new sub design [theory] that you are currently working on. I have heard about it and all I can say is that, once again, you are definitely thinking outside of the box.
