If there is an audiophile secret there - share the info.

OO, Caig De-Oxit is a contact/connection cleaner. Don has an issue with the volume pot on his TFM-75. It most likely makes a scratching sound that is audible through the speakers at all volume levels when the knob is either turned up or down. When we pop the top of the unit to gain access to the volume control potentiometer, we'll spray the Caig De-Oxit into it while turning the knob all of the way up and down about 50-60 times. As soon as the chemical solution drys, there will be absolutely no audible noise whatsoever because the contacts will be clean.

Yea, like you I tend to drink to much --- :-$ :-$ :-$

Thanks, know about De-Oxit - was asking on the original thread about the audio need for the glue gun

Come on Tom - help my mind figure that out. ](*,)

Um, you need to specify what you are asking about then. As for the Glue gun? To shut the lips of folks like Londonbarn and Big Red the fuck up.

If you don't know what the hell I'm talking about? I'll tell you at Carverfest.

Have a small square JBL Bluetooth speaker that works on AA batteries. For years I have bought many small portable speakers to use on my kayak. This one is outstanding!

You guys are going to be amazed. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

Being a poor boy, I am looking forward to checking out the high end things you guys own.

On the low end - I have the set Mick Fleetwood uses on his travels -

Anyone want to hear that?
