Great Little speakers with "BIG" sound (LOVE THEM)....
I must put these little beauty's in my system for all to see - I am very happy with them and now wait for some "NEW ALS" speakers from 2010 Eight foot Dreams.

Don, I have the Signature 2700 watt Sunfire - OH and I never added my CRM-2C Center channel speaker too!!! Here is a Picture:

I think you probably have the Telefunken EC88 that you can find around on e-bay. As far as rolling tubes I don't want to give you the wrong information. It is easy for me having 12AX7 tubes in my Jolida, they are all over the place from different manufactures, so easy to try different ones. I'm a little confused on the cross reference for the EC88 and my research has me coming up with 6DL4, 8255, E88C, E88CC, 6922, and 6DJ8. So you can see I don't want to suggest any of these without conformation from someone who knows. Ok guys, what tubes have you rolled in the Carver CD players? Sorry I wasn't much help.
I did find this that I though was cool:
E = 6.3V heater
C means triode
CC means two triodes.

I got the chairs facing the other way for company and turn them around for MOVIE NIGHT....

I better add my CRS-3C MUCH Bigger then the CMR-2C, Now I just got to sell my CRM-2C
