I just bought Bob Carver's BLACK BEAUTY amplifiers on Ebay!!

Hi guys,

I don't participate a lot on this forum, but as a Carver fan, I do check in here from time to time. Today was a very special day for me and I wanted to share it with you: I bid on Bob Carver's Black Beauty amplifiers on EBay and I won the auction!!

Carver C-19 tube pre-amplifier
Carver SD/A 490t tube CD player
Carver TFM-45 amps (I have three of these)

Polk Audio SRS 3.1TL
Kef Reference Model One

Congrats on your purchase, they will work well with the C-19 you have.

I have tried my set of Cherry 180's with the C-19 put I do prefer the Sunfire Tube Preamp.

I think Bill (OO) is going to be pissed off, he was hoping to win them.

Hey wardsweb and helicopterpilotdoug, I always thought people in this forum were mostly from places far away from me, I didn't realize both of you are right here in central Texas!! Are there any others around here? By the way, once I get them, you guys want to get together for a music listening session??!!
