Last 2 fest were incrediable with the tube beast setup. Sorry that those who could not go didn't get the chance to him them.

They sounded wonderful-- the story of how Dave and crew aquired them is very good,,I could hear it again.

Yeah, if I remember right, some "troll" made TWO 60 mile round trips to San Pedro and lugged these very heavy boxes of gold out of someone's Carver equipment laden basement and then drove them over to UPS for shipment.... Two trips because the "seller" was so disorganized that he did not really know WHAT he had in all those boxes of vintage NEW Carver tube amps and PS's, etc. But I was very happy to do it so Dave and all you could enjoy them at the fest. Would love to hear them someday, but have not as yet been able to make one of these due to other commitments. But keep crapping on me BillD and Tom.. ..I'm sure it was worth it for you both!

Yeah Bill! What James said! I was just re-telling part of the story for Zoot Horn (and no, Bill, no exploitation at all: I got a free 'fest T-shirt and a little some'm-some'm else for the effort! Plus Dave didn't kick my ass after we shipped some wrong stuff the 1st time and almost didn't get them there in time for the '09 'fest - that's pricesless! )
