By the way, Bob and I just finished listening to them with the lights off and the 40 tubes glowing (40 tubes !!! 20 on each amp!), and my C19 and my 490t connected to them, it was incredible!! how do they sound? Bob made me promise that "I'm not saying" would be my official answer! ;) Sorry guys!

Odysseous.

You probably did see my old Sunfire Preamp at Bob's there is a big story on it, read this thread and it will fill you in:

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=12469&p=121517&hili ... ll#p121517

Looks like you went for the same Red as I did, I do like the Red case with the Black Transformer covers.
From your picture, it looks like you have the KT88's in it and not the KT120's. If you do have the KT120's then Bob
has made the transformer cover higher.
You will love these Amp's, but you also got lucky and had a listen to the new Silver 7's

My guess is, since these are the 305 wpc amps, the power supply was upgraded & that made the transformers taller~

Gary.

That was my guess as well, but after looking again at the KT120's in my amp's I have to say that the picture Odysseous
posted has KT88's in them.

Will have to wait for Odysseous to confirm what is in them.
