Does anybody remember the guy with the BMW super system?

I remember when I was younger I read a story about a guy that had dropped 50 to 60 grand on the audio system in his BMW 3 series. I wasn't really old enough to care much beyond the "coolness." But now I'm curious who this guy was and what components he was using.

This was not a bass sytem at all.. this was an allround super system for quality and clarity.

Who knows? Maybe this guy has a new project..

Never heard of the guy or his system, but I sure would like to see some pictures. Gotta wonder if he still has the car and what little (or big) projects he's doing now.

But no, that's not the one. This was an E-36 BMW.. The body style before that one.

Though it wasn't the same car, it's pretty awesome that guy did it himself. Wish I had his skills -- I still get "lefty Lucy, righty tighty" screwed up.
