We'll figure it out...

Well, I haven't heard anything from any of them and I have asked repeatedly. So I guess it's up to the organizers to figure it out. No biggie, just part of the plan. Your suggestion is a good one but I think that it will be a bigger task than it needs to be due to there only being one grill at that location. Cooking for everybody there on one grill just ain't gonna cut it with the amount of folks that will need to be fed that night. Well, that and also the window of cooking time that may be available that night.

Any suggestion is more than welcome.

Good question. Need to ask Tom total number in attendance on day we are planning on eating Brats. I can tell you, this is one crowd that likes to chow down.

My guess is 1.5 to 2 Brats per attendee, based on amount of side dishes also served.

Re: Food ideas for CarverFest

I figure the last Fri/Sat will be the largest attendance days; anyone figured out how many we have coming on those days so far? I'm guessing in the 50+ range....

What was it last year? About 56 max?

](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

This chart is very close to being correct in the TOTAL numbers of people per day. Add 3 extra per day to be safe for now.

Actually, bring it if you can. I was talking with Ray the other day and asked him if we could use something like this because I knew you had asked but never did receive a response. We'll put it to good use and we already have a plan made. It is easily transferred from one cabin to another, correct?

If you do not want to use your vehicle, we have plenty of folks coming that have a hitch as well.

It isn't a hitch mounted grill but it is easily transportable nonetheless. I will bring it. If its used, great. If not, no biggie

Re: Food ideas for CarverFest

I picked up a new smoker. Will be taking it down to CF. I have done some chickens and ribs so far and they have turned out very nice.

I am thinking I could put about 8 chickens on it at once. It is pretty big!

Re: Food ideas for CarverFest

As for now 11 will house me and Tammy, my buddy Jerry, Rainman and Rainwoman. It has been and can continue to be the host cabin in the true spirit of Carverfest. If the main meals for Friday and Saturday are to be prepared there, I need to know. All of us are there for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Everyone has enjoyed the atmosphere before and the cabin is laid out for the event. With help from Tom, Ray, Angelo, and Eddie in organizing it, we can have a super time. Just thought I'd throw it out.... :-k 8)
In reality, it only matters what it sounds like to YOU!!!
