Yeah, I have the Sunfire logo too.. Not a big deal to make either.

Was thinking about putting them on eBay. But I need to buy some parts 1st.
The one I made has cold cathode bulbs in it, cause I had some laying around.
The eBay version will be all LED's. Cheaper and more reliable. They should light up just the same.
But I need to order them, and some 200ma transformers.

Should have everything before Carverfest.

Sorry, the sign wasn't lit for CF.... Handy-Boy hooked the wires up AssBackWards and blew the transformer....
I never thought to bring an extra... It's not like I don't have about 100 of them laying around here

No, no batteries. It would be nice, but the cold cathodes draw too much power to go with batteries.

I don't know. Depends on the power supplies.

LEDs would be best, they don't require an 2nd transformer like the cold cathodes to.
Cold cathodes are basically very tiny neon strips. Same kind of bulb in a scanner.
CRAZY BRIGHT, but they need a 2nd transformer to step the 12v up to like 50kv or something stupid like that.
And that 2nd transformer is bigger, and hard to hide.

LEDs would only require 1 single 12v wall wart.

If I get the LEDs and transformers, I'd guess each sign would run $30 or so.
Start posting "pre-order wants" to get me motivated enough to do it.

It's just like everything else... Sounds good, looks good, I just never do it.
