Very nice....I like the interconnects on the floor. I do the same thing when I'm working on the car; take a hammer out and place it in sight, just so she's knows what it'll come down to if she doesn't cooperate

Re: 500 ManCave
What's that wire on the wall? is that a AM antenna? or your grand kids writing on the wall? and who is the picture of the women? Is that you wife? She is HOT!
oh, I like the looks much better than the first picture, Looking good!

I like the title of your post. Congrats on the new home! Keep us posted on how you lay everything out! Buying making furniture is the fun part...... You don't have to worry about spending serious coin on electronics that have a 50% chance of working!
Bob Carver built a time machine and went back in time to stop the JFK assassination. As Oswald shot, Bob met all three bullets with sound waves from a subwoofer he built, deflecting them. JFK's head exploded out of sheer amazement.
Re: 500 ManCave
Found me a new/old rack at the Salvation Army Store today. $35.00 bucks. What do you think ?

I'm proud of you, Rick. I finally see some glass in the rig!
Looks like the mancave has come a long way. I can not wait to have me mine back. When Aiden was born, he got my mancave and I had to battle it out with the lovely other half as to whether I was gonna listen to music in the living room or whether she was gonna watch TV. Now that Aiden's two, I have to battle between my wife and Aiden with his Sesame Street time. Listening time have been greatly reduced, as you can imagine. Enjoy your freedom, the grass is looking mighty green in that man room of yours.

In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

Very nice Rick. I recognize a couple of those components in there.
It should sound like it isn't there!

I've had to look a long time to find something I liked. I want to build something like this and put it into production.
The speakers are Klipsch KLF-10's.
Yes.

You sure are privileged to me. I'm lucky right now because Aiden is sleeping and Vince Gill is singing for me in the living room but that's only because my wife is having a "girls" weekend down at the lake. I miss the days of being able to listen whenever I wanted to.....which was pretty much the entire time I was not working. Even when I was working, the man room was also my office, so I could be running all of the business end of things [before I closed up shop] as I listened to some serious tunes. I need my music, for without it I will deteriorate and wither away into the endless black hole of the dull and lifeless.
Like I said, the grass is looking mighty green over there.

I don't know what to tell ya buddy. You got to do what you got to do ! Rose tolerates me some how.
She knows I'll pack my stereo's and leave.
This system is in her living room for now until I get my cave cleaned out and painted. Believe me Tom, Rose is sick of all my shit laying all over the place. I still listen though. She can't stop me from listening to my tunes. See my avatar ?
