Cring08 $100 system (non-Carver)

I just picked up for $100 bucks:

Harmon Kardon
Citation 11 Pre-Amp
Citation 12 Amplifier
Citation 12 Deluxe Amplifier
Techics SL-1950 Turntable

and about 50 albums including:

Dave Brubeck Quartet "Gone with the Wind"
Herb Alpert "Greatest Hits"

they sound great!

I just tested them with the Infinity's, which are great for their size.

I now have to test a few different set-ups.

It seems, no matter how great or low cost the find, it leads to the potential to buy more equipment!

I am on my way now to a local vintage audio swap meet!

Congrats! That was a great score. =D> A friend of mine has a Citation 16? I think, 150 wpc and we did a side by side with my Adcom 5800 @ 250 wpc. I was very surprised at how well it did on my system, lots of good clean power, seemed to keep up with the Adcom just fine!

LOL... yeah they were to test everything. I have the Advents in there now.

I missed out on a nice set of speakers at the Audio Swap Meet Sat.
