Carver ALiii woofer pair for sale - refoamed, excellent
I am selling the original woofers from my ALiii speakers. After reading TNRabbit's posts, I purchased the Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.1s and did the upgrade (woofers only, not touching the crossovers....yet:)
As far as the speakers go, I am the 2nd owner, and as the story goes, original owner actually won them in a competition with radio control planes on a guide wire that dog fight, sponsored by Bob C himself. Some of you "vintage" guys probably know more about this event from back in the day. The competition winners were awarded a Carver audio system. My accomplished seller also won another system and had a set of Amazings as well to prove it!
Last year, I purchased the speakers in near mint condition and the owner had just refoamed the woofers. I enjoyed the overall sound, but the upgrade was calling my name.
I don't need these original woofs and TNR suggested some of you may want/need them, so happy to sell to a member and they will help fund my never ending quest for more power and clarity.
Make me a reasonable offer and they are yours. I will carefully box and ship out UPS. I will take Paypal or am flexible if other payment arrangements are preferred. Let me know if any questions. I can take some photos and post or email, thanks for the interest.
