Brian, I just got off the phone with your seller. We are to meet up at his office [where the system is] on Friday at 8:00AM EST. He says he needs to set up a PP account but that shouldn't be an issue, according to him.

Well, I went up and saw them today. They are in really nice condition and working order. I took some photos I will post as time permits but I will say this. Brian has made out like a bandit! =D>

Those who will be attending Carverfest will see this setup, maybe even the seller as well. The fat lady still hasn't sang but all things look to be a go. Just need to figure out some logistics and give the seller some time to find the original boxes.

As you are aware I do not really need an extra amp. I just spent an hour or so packing up my set of Cherry 260's
and put them in storage what a waste ](*,)

so when I get the 600x2 it will end up sitting next to the Cherry's.

Tom (T3) will get the benefit of the Amp/PreAmp until Carverfest 2012 thats when I will get to see them.

Yes I know the Sunfire Tube Pre is very good, as I already own one with Phono Stage and remote. I will end up passing this one to one of kids some day.

Perhaps I forgot to mention my other line of business. It just so happens I operate a hi fi storage company featuring climate controlled storage. We take any units being stored and frequently test them to ensure electricity properly lows through the system. Best of all, this is a free service to all pre-approved applicants. :lol:

I really appreciate the offer to hear your Cherry 260's, but I will decline. No sense in risking damage in shipping.
