I'd love to hear a set of DQ-20s one day.
Where are you getting your surrounds from?
All I can find for the DQ-8s are foam surrounds,
and they're supposed to have rubber.

Here is my current setup. The 10's guzzle up power big time. I turned the gains wide open on the 75 for the first time ever.

I'm surprised the speakers are still sitting there!! They must be power hungry all right. I'd have thought wide open on the TFM-75 would have blowed em up Real Good!!

My thoughts exactly Doug. I had a pair of 10's and anything above 200 watts per was danger territory. It' s time you get that rack going for those components, that's alot of weight on the 75.
In reality, it only matters what it sounds like to YOU!!!

  Running the 9's and 10's together = 16 total drivers so I guess its enough to use up alot of the 75's power. I havent turned the volume much past half, but let me tell you at about half throttle it gets LOUD!! with plenty of headroom.

Kingman did you blow anything on your 10's. I had this thing cranked a couple times and have never hear a cymbal crash that loud. I know its time to get the rack built, been looking to buy one but nothing suits me. I took everything off of it and there's not a mark on it but definately too much weight.

Kingman did you blow anything on your 10's.
...Just fuses. I liked them but they did not suit my needs at the time.

Just trying to load all these amp down in the 2 to 3 ohm range   I like it loud and clear \:D/

When I want to do some serious laid back audiophile listening I just use on pair of mains at a time. Should be fun to roll tubes trying all different typs of speakers.

I like the TV stand, kind of a cool vintage look to go with the silver faced gear.

If you like LOUD and clear music, I highly recommend looking into some Klipsch Chorus IIs. I've had a set for the past few years and they are very hard to beat, extremely loud, clear and the type of bass that kicks you in the chest!! :D :D :D You can run these with a 2 watt tube amp or the Sunfire 600x2, they're easy like that! There's a nice pair on eBay right now:
