"CUSTOM COLOR" ALS Debut - Mar. 9-11 2012 Jacksonville FL.

http://www.axpona.com/

I just thought people might be interested to know...
For a "small" additional charge, you will be able to order your new ALS in ANY color.

We will be bringing (2) pairs of ALS to the show...
One in the standard Stealth Black and the 2nd set will be:
2012 Lamborghini - Arancio Argos

Arancio Argos
The new colour on the Lamborghini Aventador was inspired by the orange colour of the oranges from Argos, a small but ancient city located in the Peloponnese, Southern Greece. It is of course a great advertisement for the fantastic oranges found in Argos, but also generally for Southern Greece. The mayor of Argos, Dimitris Kamposos, inspired this initiative by sending the Argos orange colour to certain car manufacturers. Lamborghini replied by giving the name Argos to the new orange colour.
This is a positive move for Argos and for Greece, which will also promote tourism for Argos and the whole region. This could also be a positive move for the orange sales in Greece and abroad. It is important, also to stress, that Lamborghini chose this name, inspired by the fruit, due to the fact that it believes that the oranges produced in Argos are the best ones, with of course the best colour.

If that's the kind of woman I would attract by owning that car, I'll buy something else.
Political Correctness...defined

A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Probably just want to get noticed.
Hopefully between the Bob factor and the 'fun' color, it'll generate some buzz.
Midlife audio crisis sales perhaps?

They will be "one of a kind" for quite a while I expect.

Re: "CUSTOM COLOR" ALS Debut - Mar. 9-11 2012 Jacksonville F

yes i saw that it is a city in greece, but the word itself is i am talking about....when i read it out loud, that is what it sounds like to me. i will ask my mom and dad tommorow and i will also go to somewhere online that will pronouce it so i am sure. i was not saying this in any way or having any reference to you, i was thinking back as to how long you had to wait for the samples and what not . if anything, once you had the componets, they were put together immediately there after. a few days if memory serves me right. just a funny coincidence in my mind....i can't wait to see them in person. i will call later, but i have told all around me i will be in florida the first of march, even sooner if you need me for anything and i mean anything that i could be of assistance or help with.

My point being that 99% of women will NOT want a bright orange, 8-foot tall monstrosity in their home~

Personally, I think it would cooler than shit!

James, can you fab up a previous pic of them & overlay the orange?
