jammin in the new garage
so i hooked up the bob approved carverfest speakers i built to a tfm35, 490t with the bill d modded c1 pre. very nice indeed. the 14 foot ceiling brought back memories of the cabin i was in as the stage was wide and tall. when playing dark side of the moon, the clocks went off, the sound was at least ten foot past each speaker and just as tall as a grandfather clock would stand. it gave me chills it sounded so nice. i can't wait to get some more shelfs up to open up the floor space that has crap on it so i can lay down a area rug and a confortable chair. this may turn into my new sound room......all kidding aside, i really am gonna love the old garage when i turn it into the two channel room while i pay down the new garage, then with the help of everyone here, i am gonna build an addition to the house for a real no holds bar, 2 channel sound room. my thoughts are atleast 20 x 20 and 10-12 foot ceaings. i may even go as far as the guy with folded horn quad 18" subs in concrete as the house has about three to four feet of crawl space underneath the main floor now. getting old is kinda of cool in the aspect of being able to finally do the things i was not able to when i was a younger version of me....

Sounds great angel! Keep on "truck'in"!
"houston, the lift has touched down."
That line reminded me of a funny one line comment posted to one of the articles about Whitney Houston's death (from drugs, etc.): "Houston, you have a problem!"....
